Herne Hill's median age of 46 and 2.7 vehicles per household tell the story — cars accumulate on large Swan Valley blocks for decades. Squashed between Greenmount and John Forrest National Parks, it is bushfire country where write-offs need fast removal. Italian and Croatian winemaking families add deceased-estate jobs involving aged cars. City of Swan residents know a non-runner must be off the block before the next fire season — free same-day pickup from Bellevue does that.

For Herne Hill semi-rural properties we typically pay $200–$5,000. Cars that sat with flat batteries or weather damage still attract a fair cash offer — we have collected plenty assumed worthless along Lancaster and Talijancich Roads.
