Baskerville is one of Perth's smallest suburbs — just 302 residents across 125 dwellings in the heart of the Swan Valley wine region. With 2.8 vehicles per dwelling and a median age of 49, many households run multiple farm utes, older sedans, and vineyard utility vehicles on long gravel driveways off Memorial Avenue and Maisie Street. The suburb's heritage properties and hobby farms mean non-running vehicles often sit for months or years before owners address them, especially when properties change hands through deceased estates. City of Swan planning controls protect the rural character, so there's no pressure to clear cars quickly for redevelopment — but there IS pressure when you need the space back.

Typical cash payments for end-of-life utes in Baskerville range from $200 to $3,000 depending on make, condition, and scrap metal weight. Running Ford Rangers or Toyota Hiluxes with some life left can fetch $2,000-$5,000. We provide a same-day quote over the phone based on your suburb and vehicle details.
Yes — our tilt-tray trucks regularly navigate the gravel laneways off Memorial Avenue and Maisie Street in Baskerville. We recommend arranging pickup from the Great Eastern Highway frontage or main driveway entrance if the laneway is narrow or soft after rain, as the Helena River corridor can make unsealed roads boggy in winter.
Absolutely. We handle multi-vehicle pickups regularly for Swan Valley property sales. For three vehicles in Baskerville, we can typically schedule collection within 24-48 hours and provide a bundled cash offer. Our depot at Bellevue is only about 18 minutes away via Great Eastern Highway, so same-day is often possible.
You don't need a permit for voluntary removal — we handle all the transfer paperwork and deregistration. However, if the City of Swan has issued an abandoned vehicle notice on a car on your property, you'll need to act before fines accumulate. We can collect vehicles subject to council notices and provide the documentation you need.
Vehicles collected from Baskerville are taken to our Bellevue depot at 59 Helen Street for dismantling and recycling. Usable parts are harvested, hazardous materials are safely drained, and the remaining shell is crushed for scrap metal recycling. You'll receive a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
